Edgbaston is within walking distance from Birmingham's city centre, being less than 3 miles away. It is also well connected by two railway stations, Five Ways and University, as well as the Bristol and Hagley roads, making it an ideal location to commute from. A train from University station will take you to Birmingham New Street in just eight minutes.
As well as easy access to the esteemed Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Edgbaston is famed for its cricket ground and golf and tennis clubs. The local Midland Arts Centre and Barber Institute of Fine Art also offer a some rich culture to the area, and provide a cinema, art gallery and theatre.
